John Errol Ferguson

Offender: John Errol Ferguson and accomplices Marvin Francois and Beauford White broke into a house, killed six people, and wounded two. He later killed two more people on his own.

Meal: 

• John Errol Ferguson choose a chicken sandwich and sweet tea for his last meal. I had them both a Chic-fil-A. After this he was issued a stay.
• For his actual last meal, John Errol Ferguson declined a special meal, and received a standard meal of a meat patty, a vegetable patty, white bread, carrots, potato salad, stewed tomatoes, and iced tea.

Offender: Shannon Johnson shot and killed the boyfriend of his ex.

Meal: Shannon Johnson declined a special meal and received a standard meal of chicken lo mein, buttered bread, iced tea, carrots, and cake. I had the bread from Jewel, the chicken from Peking Chinese Food, and the cake and tea from Walmart.

State: Delaware

Offender: Richard Masterson strangled a man that he meet at a bar.

Meal: Richard Masterson choose baked chicken, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, carrots, and sliced bread. To drink he had a choice of water, punch, or tea. I had baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and raspberry iced tea from Brown's Chicken; and peas, carrots, and bread from Walmart.

State: Texas

Offender: Travis Hittson killed a navy shipmate.

Meal: Travis Hittson declined a special meal, and received a standard meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, peas, red beans, pudding bread, orange juice, and cornbread. I got all of the food at Walmart, except for the cornbread which was from Jewel.

State: Georgia

Brandon Rhode

Offender: Brandon Rhode and his accomplice Daniel Lucas broke into a house and killed the father and his son and daughter.

 Meal: Brandon Rhode received the standard meal of a chili dog, tater tots, coleslaw, carrots, fruit punch, and cake. I got the hot dog at Smokehouse and the rest at Jewel. 

Total Cost: 1.79(fruit punch) + 3.49(tater tots) + 1.50(carrots) + 1.26(coleslaw) + 2.50(carrot cake) + 3.69(chili dog) = $14.23

Adjusted Cost: 1.79(fruit punch) + 0.35(tater tots) + 1.50(carrots) + 1.26(coleslaw) + 2.50(carrot cake) + 3.69(chili dog) = $10.88

Arthur Lucas and Ronald Turpin

Offenders: Arthur Lucas murdered and police informant and Ronald Turpin killed a police officer during a traffic stop after a robbery. They were the last men to be executed in Canada, the former commenting that this is "some consolation".

Meal: Both offenders had steak, potatoes, vegetables, and pie. I choose Campbell's Chunky Steak and Potato Soup with sliced carrots and celery added in, and well as slice of Eli's Cookie Cheesecake. 

Total Cost: $2.99(soup) + $2.00(pie) + $3.99(celery and carrots) =$8.98

Adjusted Cost: $2.99(soup) + $2.00(pie) + $0.49(celery and carrots) =$5.58
